I was recently invited to read to an elementary school class in celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday. In a previous such engagement, I arrived sans a book to read. Ever the quick study, I went online to purchase the perfect book for last weeks’s big day. My search led me to “Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!”. Dr. Seuss’s 1975 tale involved many thought provoking concepts and illustrations…some philosophical and some merely entertaining. My challenge to the students was appreciate how remarkable our gift of thought is. The possibilities of innovative thought are simply limitless – in school, in law, and most of all, in life. “Oh, the THINKS you can think up if only you try!”
